Modern Solutions to Historic Problems

ABOUT US
No Bull Intentions Ltd is an independent software developer founded by industry veteran, Phil Ings, in Hampshire, England in April 2013. We are situated in Port Solent, in the heart of the North Harbour business park in Portsmouth.

In early 2016, we had just published our third adventure game on Steam and were contracting on two further adventure games. A most unlikely confluence of circumstances (involving a theme park, a friend of the director, a ghost train, and an industrial estate in Guildford) led to us taking on a collaboration with Figment Productions for the Royal Mint Experience in Cardiff.
Though we didn't realize it at the time, this chain of events was the catalyst that led to the company pivoting from videogames into museum and visitor attraction software. We soon realized that the skills we'd picked up working in game development were remarkably useful when carried over to on-site experiences and visitor navigation apps. They gave us new perspectives on existing problems and gave rise to new, innovative solutions.
In September 2016, we partnered with Guidekick in order to develop a series of on-site visitor applications for galleries and museums, including de Young, The Frick, Iolani Palace and the Asian Art Museum. In 2017, we worked with Guidekick to create a virtual case application for The Getty Villa in Malibu.
