Business Development Manager

What We Need

​

After years of contracting for museums like the National Gallery of Art and The Frick, we’ve recently launched our first self-published product - a unique piece of software based on a system we developed for The Getty Museum. We’re looking to bring on an experienced business development specialist to lead the sales and marketing effort and to help grow the company.

​

We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and wants to be a major part of our expansion.

​

Requirements

​

  • Proven success in a B2B sales environment.

  • The ability to generate new leads.

  • Experience within, and knowledge of, the museum industry specifically.

  • Proactive and able to manage your own time.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be based in either the UK or USA.

​

​

Nice to Haves

​

  • A Rolodex full of museum and culture contacts, ideally in a software/digital role.

  • Experience selling software as a service.

  • Able to wear many hats across the biz dev spectrum.

  • Experience with Zoho or similar CRM software.

  • Leadership skills.

​

Duties

​

  • Generating leads, nurturing prospects, and closing sales.

  • Maintaining and updating the client and prospect database.

  • Developing our high-level business strategy.

  • Reporting to management.

​

​
